Industrial and Petrochemical Engineer | Industrial Processes and Energy Projects Specialist
Nasser Avendaño is an Industrial and Petrochemical Engineer with more than 30 years of experience in the energy, petrochemical, and industrial process sectors. Throughout his professional career, he has participated in the development, supervision, and execution of projects related to refining operations, petrochemical production, industrial maintenance, and construction of facilities within the oil and gas industry.
Over the years, he has collaborated with major organizations in the energy sector, including Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), Petrocaribe, and several international energy companies, serving in roles involving engineering, construction supervision, industrial operations, and project management. He has also worked as an engineering inspector and advisor for the Ministry of Energy and Mines, contributing to regulatory oversight and supervision of oil and gas activities.
His areas of expertise include process engineering, industrial plant maintenance, construction of tanks and pipelines, cooling tower systems, development of chemical solutions for the oil industry, and optimization of processes in heavy crude production. Throughout his career, he has also led business initiatives focused on delivering technical solutions and industrial services for the energy sector.
In addition to his industrial and operational experience, Mr. Avendaño has served as a university professor in mathematics, physics, and chemistry applied to engineering, contributing to the education and training of future engineers and technical professionals.
He currently leads Nasser Group Internacional, an organization dedicated to industrial project development, specialized welding services, construction and maintenance of petrochemical infrastructure, and technical and chemical solutions for the energy industry.
His professional approach combines extensive operational experience, multidisciplinary technical knowledge, and strategic leadership, providing a comprehensive perspective on industrial processes and practical solutions for the challenges faced by the energy sector.
